"Thanks to you, we enjoyed our trip very much.

Vangvieng has splendid view and is like an Utopia for us, and the hotel we stayed is very good, too.

We also enjoyed two days' Mekong cruise in Luang Prabang.

Anyway, Thank you very much for everything !!"

    Dear Ms Phuong,

    Thank you.

We had a wonderful time in Myanmar.

The hotels were all very good, especially the Governor's residence in Yangon.

The guides were excellent and had good language skills and very good local knowledge.

There was so much to see our heads were spinning!!

We had many flights and airport connections and they all went without a single problem.

We also had a great time in Vietnam as usual! It almost feels like home.

    Kind regards,

    Anne & Ian Smith

New Airport in the home land of Halong Bay
    Wednesday, 22/04/2019 01:03

Property developer Sun Group has been selected to build QuangNinh International Airport in Van Don Island District in the northern Quang Ninh Province. The province is home to World Heritage site Ha Long Bay. The airport will be built on 248.6ha in Van Don Island District's Economic Zone, with an estimated investment capital of VND7.49 trillion ($351.8 million), including the costs for site clearance.

Upon its completion, the airport will be able to handle five million passengers and 30,000 tonnes of cargo annually. The airport, to span 285ha in Doan Ket Commune, will have runways 3,000m x 45m in size to allow the operation of long-range and wide-body Boeing 777s. Accordingly, construction will be carried out in two phases, with the first stage undertaken between now and 2020. By 2026, the second runway will be built to allow the operation of the Airbus A380. This good news will boost the travel and economic business for Quang Ninh province.
