"Thanks to you, we enjoyed our trip very much.

Vangvieng has splendid view and is like an Utopia for us, and the hotel we stayed is very good, too.

We also enjoyed two days' Mekong cruise in Luang Prabang.

Anyway, Thank you very much for everything !!"

    Dear Ms Phuong,

    Thank you.

We had a wonderful time in Myanmar.

The hotels were all very good, especially the Governor's residence in Yangon.

The guides were excellent and had good language skills and very good local knowledge.

There was so much to see our heads were spinning!!

We had many flights and airport connections and they all went without a single problem.

We also had a great time in Vietnam as usual! It almost feels like home.

    Kind regards,

    Anne & Ian Smith

New Hanoi - Lao Cai expressway reduces travelling time to Sapa Resort Town
    Friday, 26/06/2019 17:33

The Hanoi-Yen Bai section has four lanes for vehicles, with a speed limit of 100 kph, while the Yen Bai-Lao Cai section has two lanes and a limit of 80 kph. The expressway features 120 bridges, including two large ones that span the Hong and Lo Rivers. It also has a 530-meter long tunnel, 13 toll collection stations and five rest stations.
The expressway will help shorten the travel time from Hanoi to Lao Cai from the current seven hours to four and a half hours. The expressway is part of the China’s Kunming – Vietnam’s Hai Phong Transport Corridor and belongs to the Greater Mekong Sub- region (GMS) cooperative program linking Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, and China. Costing nearly US$1 billion, the highway is expected to boost tourism and socio-economic development in the northern midlands and the north-western region. It will reduce travel time between Ha Noi and the Sa Pa resort town and the Lao Cai International Border Gate.
