    Dear Ms Phuong,

    Thank you.

We had a wonderful time in Myanmar.

The hotels were all very good, especially the Governor's residence in Yangon.

The guides were excellent and had good language skills and very good local knowledge.

There was so much to see our heads were spinning!!

We had many flights and airport connections and they all went without a single problem.

We also had a great time in Vietnam as usual! It almost feels like home.

    Kind regards,

    Anne & Ian Smith

Avocados are characteristically buttery yet subtly flavorful, pear shaped fruits. Unlike most other fruits, they feature high fat content and have more calories. Nonetheless, they are among the popular fruits having good nutrition profile and health benefiting properties.

    Vietnamese travels to Hongkong

      Faq :

      Dear Vietnam Explorer Travel,

We are in Hanoi now. I wonder if you can help. My Vietnamese girlfriend & me want to go Hongkong for weekend. Can you book us best fare round trip and any tour suggestion? Thanks, Matt and Hoa

      Answer :

      Hello  Matt and Hoa,

I am pleased to answer as below. We can offer you our best available round trip fare from and to HKG from HANOI. Options can be with Vietnam Airliles or Hongkong Airlines. However, as you stated your partner is a Vietnamese. Most people need visa for Hongkong, but Vietnamese passport holders need to prepare several papers apart from paying visa fee if approved by China Embassy.

Basically, she needs to have (1) valid passport of at least 7 months validity (2) financial secure paper ( at least $US 1500 or equivalent amount in VND) ( 3) invitation letter from authorized travel agency residing in HK (4) job and annual leave certification (5) house book & valid ID ( Vietnamese Identification Card). All these documents are noterized & stamped at time of applying for Hongkong Visa. So, tickets are just a small part of the trip. If she ever travels to any overseas countries in the past, it is better.  More details, please contact us.

      Thank You & good luck,

      Vietnam Explorer Travel

    Vietnam visa on arrival

      Faq :

We are from Japan. Do we need Vietnam visa for short trip? Can we do Halong Bay within a day tour? I like to see Sapa also. How many days do we need? Thank you. Mikami Takayuki- Japan

      Answer :

      Good morning Mr. Mikami  Takayuki,

We are pleased to reply your questions. First, for Japanese visistors, you don't need Vietnam visa up to 15 day length in our country. Second, you can make a day trip to Halong Bay, but it will be a tiring day as return car ride will take at least 7 hours( app 3 hours and a half each way including a short break enroute). We think the best option is an overnight trip in Halong Bay on cruises ( or hotels, at your choice). Last, to make a trip to visit Hanoi, Halong Bay and Sapa, you should plan at least 7 days. Going to Sapa, travellers usually take night train so it saves your day time. There is no commercial flight currently from Hanoi to either Sapa or Halong Bay.

Please feel free to contact us should you have more questions.

      Thank you,

      Vietnam Explorer Travel
